A new tweak has arrived in the Cydia Store. Developed by Jonathon Winger Lang, it’s called InstaLauncher and it’s designed to let you launch and browse through your apps in a slightly different manner to normal.

Once you have downloaded it you need to set up a method of activation and then you can start to customize it to your taste. To do this, open your settings app, scroll down to InstaLauncher and tap on it. Now you have a series of options. Pick how you want the tweak to launch, i.e. when you unlock. One of the first things you can do is hide apps you don’t want in view. All you do is tap on the on/off toggle to do this. Next you can take a look at the list of recent and favorite apps. You can enable or disable apps and change how they are listed and laid out if you like.
Set up apps that you want to launch from InstaLauncher quickly and easily. You can put as many app on your Faves list as you like but physical space is limited. The more you add the worse it looks because they will all be shrunk down to fit in.

While you are in the tweak, tapping on the open space to the right of the screen will let you switch where the A-Z panel s shown – right or left whatever your preference. To get a better idea of how it works, have a look at this video of InstaLauncher in action :
