TaiG set the jailbreak world on fire by releasing its jailbreak for iOS 8.3, namely TaiG Jailbreak tool. We finally got an iOS jailbreak which we were waiting impatiently for. But soon after the jailbreak was available and users started downloading and installing it, we got to know that not everything that glitters is gold and that was the exactly the same thing with TaiG 2.0. There is not doubt that TaiG gave us an iOS jailbreak after a long time, but this is totally an incomplete version of the tool. It missed out on some essential aspects of jailbreaks and hence cannot run many jailbreak apps and tweaks. The reason behind this was that Cydia Substrate, which is required for Cydia to function, is not yet compatible with iOS 8.3. So all eyes were set upon TaiG and Saurik (Jay Freeman, Cydia creator) who were expected to solve this issue ASAP.

Thankfully, good news has come very quickly as Saurik has just announced that an update for Cydia is coming which will support jailbroken iOS 8.3 devices. The new Cydia version 1.1.18 resolves the error that says cannot identify your device on iOS 8.3 while installing TaiG 2.0.
But before you get all excited and satisfied, note that this is not a fix for the Cydia Substrate issue that we have been waiting for since the release of TaiG 2.0. Saurik says that the fix for the Substrate will come from TaiG themselves, so you will have to wait a bit more to install your favorite jailbreak apps and tweaks on your iOS 8.3 devices.
