If you are looking forward to the time when the iOS 7 untethered jailbreak will be ready for use, you might be holding back on the upgrades that Apple is putting out. The latest one is iOS 7.0.2 and has been released to fix the lock screen issue that was highlighted last week.

Musclenerd, prominent jailbreak developer, has confirmed that iOS 7.0.2 is perfectly safe to upgrade to and will not affect any future jailbreaks. Those of you that are still using iOS 6x jailbroken devices should steer clear of iOS 7 for now if you want to hang on to your jailbreak.
Make sure you take regular backups of your device once you go onto iOS 7. Some people are reporting issues with OTA and iTunes updates whereby their devices are getting hooked up in recovery mode. Even using TinyUmbrella to boot the device out of recovery mode is not always working so the only way out is a complete restore. It’s more than likely it’s a bug issue within iOS 7 that is causing this so back up before you update to any new release, just to be on the safe side.
Are you on iOS 7 ? If you are tell us how you are getting on with it and whether you will be upgrading to iOS 7.0.2.
