One of the reasons why some people have iOS devices is to Download Cydia onto it. For those who don’t know what Cydia is, it is the jailbreak version of the iOS app store, allowing people to modify their devices to a stage that Apple doesn’t allow. Since iOS 10 was released, the jailbreak community has been waiting patiently for a new version of Cydia but Apple keeps putting spanners in the works with new updates; the most recent one is iOS 10.3 download [ext link], which is currently with developers in beta.

When Can we Download Cydia iOS 10.3 ?
Until iOS 10.3 comes out of beta, there is no chance of an update to Cydia. None of the jailbreak teams will provide a full jailbreak for a beta version of the iOS firmware simply because it would be a waste, given that beta versions tend to change and not many people can download them anyway. However, Cydia has been updated to support iOS 10 through to iOS 10.2 with a jailbreak called Yalu. The jailbreak was released by Luca Todesco shortly after he announced that iOS 10 was proving to be a problem to jailbreak. While Yalu isn’t a perfect jailbreak and not everyone can use it, a large percentage of jailbreakers have successfully downloaded it and, if you want to give it a go, all the instructions can be found below :
Cydia 10.3 Download Release Date :
Cydia for iOS 10.3 isn’t likely to be released any time soon, certainly not before the new firmware update is released to the public. Luca Todesco will be looking at whether he can update Yalu to support iOS 10.3 and we know that Pangu, Taig and PP jailbreak teams are also looking into what they can do for the jailbreak community as well.

Right now, we can only ask that you are patient for a bit longer, as we wait for an update to Cydia. If you already use Yalu jailbreak or are still using PPHelper jailbreak for iOS 9+, please hold on to it for now and do not update your iOS device. There is a strong possibility that updating will render you unable to downgrade back to an iOS version that can be jailbroken and you will lose the jailbreak you have.
